In the year 2008, we found ourselves with failing health and abilities and a need to enrich our lives with a totally different type of life. The kids are leading full and busy academic lives and parenting our grandkids in different parts of the country and our friends and associations are all here. Shall we gather our courage and let go of the old life and reach for another adventure or sit docilely by while our quality of life diminishes? ... That is not our style. After some research of the possibilities, we came across a small ad in the Gazette and Robin Hall walked into our lives.

Senior Move Assistance's Goal statement was a real answer to our needs. 'Our goal is to simplify your relocation, provide peace of mind, and make sure you are comfortably settled in your new home through personalized moving assistance and support.' And that is exactly what she did.

Robin drew up a space plan and after looking at the furniture and stuff we had, she told us what would fit and what wouldn't. ... We set a date and she and her staff arrived and began carefully packing our valuables. When moving day came, Bill and I left and arrived at the end of the day to our new home. It took a couple more days to finish the unpacking and organizing the stuff, but she has a great knack for that. We took a nap while she set up the combined studio/office.

The next phase of our relationship with Senior Move Assistance will be to sell the things left at the house and getting it ready to sell. We are so grateful that Robin and her company are going to be handling this for us. We look forward to 2009 with anticipation instead of overburden with things we can no longer manage alone. They will be working with our sons as they did during the move and we will all feel comfortable that it will be done well.

Robin Hall has helped me with two moves. The first one was to pack and clear out my home of 30 years of stuff. She was very good about finding supplies and helping me pack. She also took things to charities that I wanted to dispose of. She also helped with cleaning my house to get it ready for a successful sale.
